In our fast-paced world, the art of listening often gets overshadowed by the noise of daily life. Yet, true obedience to God begins with a heart that is tuned to His voice. Just as a child listens to a parent, we must cultivate a spirit that is eager to hear God’s guidance. This listening is not passive; it requires intention and a willingness to act upon what we hear. When we embrace obedience, we align our lives with His will, experiencing the blessings that come from following His lead.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I come before You with an open heart, ready to listen for Your voice. Help me to be obedient to Your word and to discern Your guidance in my life. May I find joy in following Your path, trusting that Your ways are higher than my own. Teach me to quiet the distractions around me so that I may hear You clearly. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
